The story
Jess* and her mum were on their way to lunch when the car in front of them stopped abruptly to avoid an animal. Jess’ mum ran up the back of the car in front, causing damage to both vehicles.
After pulling over and exchanging details, we were contacted and able to assist her with the towing of her vehicle and organise it to be sent to a repair shop for assessment.
Luckily, Jess advised us that her mum drives her car occasionally. We included her mum as an additional driver on the policy – ensuring everyone was covered, including the other driver and their car.
Having a car is a must for Jess, as she needs one for work - so we were able to add a rental car to her policy to ensure she could stay on the road still while her car was being repaired.
